The Causeway

Originally we were going to picked up at the convention center after the farm tour.  Instead a cab was sent for us and we were whisked away into Malaysia by a cab driver who did not speak English and eventually got lost.

This was crossing the causeway between the island of Singapore and the mainland of Malaysia.  That's Johor Bahru in the distance.  The Causeway is an interesting no-man's-land between two states.  We had exited Singapore but had not yet gone through Malaysian customs.  I wondered if anyone had ever been denied entry and gotten stuck between the two.
