We arrived at the second site just before the air suddenly cooled off, a breeze picked up and the thunder started. And then it started to rain.
And I mean RAIN. When I asked Raymond how much this storm would drop, he motioned 1.5" - 2". He motioned because under the tin roof you had to shout to have a chance of being heard.
I joked to Raymond that that much rain was like a low cost water change. He told me that they would have to go out and put lime in all of the ponds to keep the pH from crashing from the volume of fresh, pure water.
